EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor program provides a pathway to permanent residence (green card status) for foreign nationals who have the financial means to invest $500,000 or $1,000,000 in the United States.

Investment Options

Investors may qualify by investing in one of the following ways:

• In a new commercial enterprise
• In an existing business that is purchased and restructured to create a new commercial enterprise
• In an existing business that is expanded to increase its net worth and number of employees by at least 40%
• In a “troubled business” that meets USCIS-defined criteria
• Through an approved EB-5 Regional Center, which manages the investment and job creation requirements on behalf of the investor

Upon approval of the investor petition, the foreign investor and their dependents receive conditional permanent residence for 2 years. In the last 90 days of this period, the investor must provide proof that all EB-5 requirements have been met. If successful, they will gain lawful permanent resident status.
